How was this concept born ?
Since 2015, local customers have been satisfied with our professional and independant watchmaking service here in our workshop in Lausanne. This brought us to develop a battery replacement online service for 33 swiss brands.
Whom is this service adressed to ?
To all owners of a quartz watch figuring on our list and having a physical adress in Switzerland.
What are the advantages ?
Process simplification in a 7 to 10 business days, fixed price and no intermediaries.
Is it a pioneer concept ?
Yes it is ! Here in Switzerland, to our knowledge, there is no similar multi-brand quartz watch care online service.
The technic
What is the life span of a watch battery ?
On average, it is 18 months, however no less than one year.
Which battery brand do we work with ?
We work with Energizer batteries, which according to our experience, are the most efficient on the market.
My seconds hand jumps ahead 4 seconds by 4 seconds, is this normal ?
It is the EOL (End Of Life) indication that warns you that your watch battery is comming to an end ; its replacement should be undertaken ASAP.
What happens if my watch does not work with a new battery ?
You will be immediately notified and various options will be available. Among them, a free forecost will be established. Please, take note that any further repair will delay the delivery date.
Will my watch remain water resistant ?
At reception of your watch, before any intervention in our workshop, your watch will undergo a 10 bar max. water resistant test. After battery change, a second test will take place. In the battery change report, all water resistant informations will be available. Even if your watch sucessfully passes the two water resistance tests, our service does not offer a waranty.
The mailing
How many watches can I send per package ?
For insurance reasons, only one watch is allowed per package.
Up to which amount are packages inssured ?
TSM, coperative society, transport insurance specialist, ensures each package up to CHF 30'000.-
How to proceed if the worth of my watch exeeds the amount enssured ?
Before filling in the online form, please do contact us at and specify the price of your watch. By doing so, we will adapt your insurance and hence you will be able to use our service. Take note that this modificaton will not change the price.
How should I pack my watch ?
Once I received the package, how many days do I have to return it ?
The fastest, the better ! Once the package arrived at your home, you have 10 working days to bring it to a post office and ask for a receipt.
